Game 1: 553 vs. Apna Punjab
First game for the season. I managed to play some basketball this winter to get myself moving. As much as I like snow, winter can be a drag sometimes. So were pumped to play our first game eventhough this is the first time we would be playing together since ..... too long to remember. With no practice and meeting some of our teammates for the first time, we managed to put up a good fight in the court. But as most unprepared teams are, we lost by 2 points.
After game ritual: Couple of pitchers @ FACES
So were off to Faces, a local pub close to the gym. Were all sitted... the waitress comes and ask "Can I see your I.D.'s " Here I was, thirsty for a drink and realizes I dont have my Driver's license with me to show, so I try to pawn off my Student ID which she gladly declines to accept. First a loss, now I'm unable to drink..... Justin realizes he doesn't have his either. Am I glad i'm not the only one. After some thrash talk about the game and the pitchers empty we head out feeling obliged to win the next game.
Final Score: 42- 44
