Acrnym Mtng... Ddnt ndrstnd a thng

Wednesday, October 28, 2009
I attended a meeting at work today regarding the LINUX Porting that is about to be rolled out. Rtap, SVN, Artifacts, Build, DB, Debug and HP-UX are the only ones that rang a bell. It lasted for 2 long hours of acronym jargon in which 95% of it I had no clue what they stand for. The flow charts comprise the other 5%. All in all, I hope that I can understand what the hell they are refering to the next time I attend one of these meetings.

Back in the Game

Friday, October 23, 2009
Recent events have given an upturn to my dismal existence as I have acquired new employment. A far more satisfying career with a great working environment adds up to a progressively uplifting morale. Recession can just suck it! Suck it good!

Working downtown exposes a great experience both in culture and professional work. However, the cost of supporting such environment also has it downside. Parking alone eats up a lot of wads. But I still prefer this than working on site. Working on the 22nd floor is a big step up from working in a make shift office inside a live oil refinery plant.

Its the end of my second week and my RTAP training will start on mid-November. By then I hope that I have adjusted a whole lot more to my new work conditions which I doubt would be that difficult.

Time lapse travels

Watching this video struck up thoughts of how time passes by so quickly and what I have been doing with my life this last 12 months as I compare it to what Christopher Rehage was doing in this video. What do you consider important doing with your life?
