A Jersey's Story
Awaiting the much anticipated NBA Slam dunk Contest, my friends and I made a wager. Who would take the crown? Due to the unstoppable winning streak of the Phoenix Suns, I put my money on Amare Stoudamire. Their pick were the two Smiths [Josh Smith of Atlanta Hawks is the favourite]. First round goes pretty tight, some really creative dunks were performed. To my delight, Amare pulled one out of the hat teaming up with Steve Nash for a head-bopping dunk. Recieving all 10's from the judges, I was confident that Amare will win it. Final round comes and Josh Smith goes first. What kind of dunk is he going to do? Oh wait, he goes to the bench and wears a Dominic Wilkins jersey ... does one of the less difficult dunks Wilkins did and what do you know he gets a perfect score. NOT because of the dunk but because of the damn jersey. It all went downhill from that point. I lost my money because of a damn jersey. Boo ... urns.
