Registration Debacle
Countless email correspondences to the office of the of Dean of Electrical Engineering has kept me busy this week. Why you ask? Well, there have been changes in course audits in my program which affected me directly as they have dropped the "old ways" of selecting an option (i.e. electronics, communication, etc.) and compounded all courses together so as to result in a more general field giving each graduate a degree in electrical engineering without a specific option. Confusing, yes? That has now been taken care of thanks to the help of the Secretary of the the Dean which served as a bridge between me, the dean, and the office of the registrar's in resolving this matter and thus allowing me to keep my electronics option.
Getting this resolved before I head back to Windsor is a great weight of my shoulder as it has saved me a lot of time and grief setting up appointments to fix my problem.
P.S.
Happy Friday the Thirteenth !
