Good Friday ... Clean Friday
Its a tradition to observe fasting on Good Friday for most Catholics. Others go for the no-meat-today route. As for me, after the clock strikes two I can't keep my hunger intact no longer so fasting was out and no-meat-today is in. Hold on, its a holiday and most establishments are closed. Where am I to find food? I head to the kitchen to look for non-meat products to cook. Bread? Eggs? Nada. Well this is a head scratcher. Ketchup and Mayo surely won't do the job. So I messaged a couple of friends about my dilemma and the best idea they came up with McD's Fillet o' Fish Friday. Good idea if you eat this crap but its just not my cup of tea. When suddenly my stomach's churn somehow sent a message to my brain "How about some shrimp?". Somehow the shrimp idea made me realize that chinese restaurants do not observe holidays. Alas, my problem is solved. Hope the food would last me the day.
Feeling guilty of breaking fast, I decided to clean my room. But why clean your room you say? Well, I consider cleaning my room as a form of penance. Lets just say that I can see the floor again and I am seeing colors on the television I forgot existed because of the thickness of the dust I removed from it.
