XBMC: The hunt begins
Ever since XBOX 360 arrived into market, I knew that my XBOX's functionality will fall as less games will be produced for this system. So I decided to harbor in games that would keep me entertained for the long haul (i.e. sports and racing games mainly). But due to the allotment of my time in surfing the web while I am at work, I have stumbled upon a hack for my system which is everything that I could have hoped for. I have been planning on purchasing a new PC with a Media Center OS (maybe a Vista system now) that I could integrated to a TV. I even went as far as thinking of purchasing Apple's iTV as an alternate solution. Alas, XBOX Media Center can provide all that I wanted to do.
XBMC is a soft mod that will allow audio & video playback of any format, view images, stream contents, view rss feeds, and much more.... Who could resist this offer. So the hunt for the components I need. I just hope I don't turn it into a brick.
