Bloody Pacman
A week earlier, I got a message from Dan Agbada, a friend from Philippines asking if I watched the Pacquiao fight. Confused on what he was talking about, I replied by asking "who the hell is pacquiao?". Apparently Manny "PACMAN" Pacquiao is a big deal back home. This just confirms that im out-of-loop on somethings.
Last night, after watching the NCAA Arizona vs. Illinois game (Illinois won being the number one seed in college ball, very good game as it went to OT) TSN played a re-run of some boxing fights. I wasn't in the mood of watching any re-runs so I chose to flip through the channels. Later on, Trav gives a shout out saying "this little f*ckers can do some damage". So I elect to go and watch some boxing. One of the boxers was bleeding already which caught my attention even more. As the referee calls a time out, I hear "galaw mo ang ulo mo". Startled of what I heard, I gave a closer look on the boxers names. What do you know, it was the Pacquiao vs. Morales fight. Only an idiot like me can miss details like that.
Overall it was a good fight, Pacquiao gave some blows on round 12 that shook the mexican out. If it wasn't for the cut on his right eye he would have won. Definitely worth a rematch.
