Friendster the Movie?

Testimonials gone amok! I consider friendster as good means of getting in touch with old friends and looking for friends for those who have none thus the name "Friendster". But I have no incling that it is worth making a movie. If they do, might as well produce it straight to DVD as it will be a box office flop. Topher probably had too much "sessions" in the That 70's Show to sign on this movie.
Variety reports that Topher Grace will star in an untitled Harold Ramis ("Groundhogs Day") comedy that will be based on the popular web service, Friendster.com. Gustin Nash will pen the screenplay.
Topher will play a character that will utilize the website, as well as instant messaging and camera phones, as he looks for love on the Internet.
